Welcome to Fireweed Human Performance

As a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Certified Nutrition Coach located in Helena, Montana, my passion is to guide people toward a healthier lifestyle whether that is in the gym, in your kitchen, or during your favorite pastime. I'll work with you to TRAIN your body in areas such as balance, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, and cardiovascular endurance. I'll teach you how to NOURISH your body with food that fuels your body the right way.  By consistently training and nourishing your body, you can LIVE your best life no matter what your age! 

 

I am deeply passionate about being a Certified Brain Health Trainer. A Brain Health Trainer is a certified fitness professional who designs and delivers exercise programs specifically aimed at supporting and improving brain function. Drawing on research in neuroscience and exercise science, a Brain Health Trainer uses movement to strengthen areas of the brain connected to memory, attention, processing speed, and executive function. Through carefully planned workouts that combine physical activity with cognitive challenges, Brain Health Trainers help individuals reduce dementia risk, enhance daily mental sharpness, and build “cognitive reserve” — the brain’s resilience to aging and disease. Whether working with adults who want to stay mentally sharp, or those experiencing early signs of cognitive decline, a Brain Health Trainer provides science-based, personalized strategies to move better, think clearer, and thrive longer.

What is a Corrective Exercise Specialist? A CES uses range of motion muscle assessments to determine which muscles are overactive or underactive causing muscle imbalances and limited range of motion.  Based on the assessment results, together we will inhibit and lengthen the overactive/tight muscles and strengthen the underactive muscles independently.  Then we will add integrated functional movements to increase range of motion, muscle endurance and strength, neuromuscular performance, and quality of life.

 

Regardless if we train in person or online, you will receive the same quality of service. I'll build a scientifically proven, custom plan based on your health, schedule, and more importantly, fitness and nutrition goals.  We will work together every step of the way to develop healthy fitness and nutrition habits that will last a lifetime.
